Errata is the term used in the Latin formula for the assignment of mistakes made in a case. In certain appellate courts it is the title of the order correcting errors in an issued opinion.

Off I Go

I have thought about blogging in the past but rejected it because as an appellate judge I thought I should avoid airing my opinions on whatever piques my interest; there also was the fact that after reading, writing and researching all day I didn't have the energy to maintain a blog. Now that I have retired I have the time for a blog and, more importantly, the need to have an outlet for my writing and a forum for my opinions. I can't promise daily posts or interesting posts but I will try to achieve both.
